Finally got a chance to visit this place for lunch and it did not disappoint! Friendly and knowledgeable staff who walked us through menu options with recommendations. Food was freshly made with big portions and great taste. Definitely will be back here when I can get a spot as normally this place is always busy on evenings and weekends.
Good service food portions are filling & very good. We tried the fried tomatoes appetizer for the 1st time which are pretty good they had a unique flavor. The poo boy steak sandwich was cooked perfect hats off to the chef. The beer was good & so are the wings.
Very good service. Had the mango margarita. Tacos were excellent as were the poor boys. Music and decor , very cool. Will definitely go there again. Update* Went again today, had pizza. Server stated it was not frozen. So we tried it. It was "ok". Needed salt, kind of bland and greasy. Also tried the deep fried mushrooms. Those were very good. Full size mushrooms! Trivia night was going on (Monday night). Excellent service as usual.
This is quite the place. With live music, great food, and amazing service i always love coming here. Uptown has a young / chill vibe and has live music on the weekends that is always good. I’ve been there a handful of times but haven’t written a review till now. I went on Friday during the final 4 games and it was packed. lots of TVs to watch from and drinks were flowing. Servers are always great there and are very attentive . We ordered the boom boom cali flower for an appetizer. One of my absolute favorite starters, really really tasty and doesn’t even taste like you’re eating cauliflower. Pretty good helping size but could be a tiny bit more. For my main meal I always go with the sliders. With a generous portion of 4 they fill you up after about 2. But that’s not even the best part. With the Caramelized onions and toasty bun, this will not disappoint you. Overall great restaurant and food and even better with the live band and TVs . Will come back here all the time since it’s local to me
It was my first time visiting Uptown. I met up with a few guys from my Gym and we had an Amazing Time. We tried the Frozen Drinks Uptown is know for and their Burgers and Sweet Potatoe Fries. Everything was Delicious. Our Server was Awesome! We had an INCREDIBLE Time.
Great atmosphere, food and staff. My kids and I have been here several times and have had excellent service. Although on September 21, 2024, my youngest son and I had the best experience we've ever had there. Our server, Karina, was over the top outstanding, extremely attentive to our needs, even with several tables inside and outside that she had. She even recommended the loaded grilled cheese, which I had and it was fantastic!! Karina even took the time to talk to my son and me, even though it was obvious that she was busy. Due to continued service like this, we will definitely be back to Uptown Tap again in the future.
Great food. Great service. Love the outdoor seating. I wish id have brought my dog since its pet friendly outdoors. It was my first time there today. I will definitely be back.
Our waitress Shelia is awesome! She was always checking in on us, made sure our orders were filled promptly, and was super accommodating regarding getting certain games on the tv...not an easy task. Beer was cold and pizza was good. Good there!!
I discovered this excellent spot in Plainfield. We ordered the uptownie nachos, a build-your-own burger topped with a fried egg, and a crispy chicken sandwich. The service was exceptional; the staff was attentive without being intrusive, our orders were taken promptly, and our meals arrived on schedule. The food exceeded our expectations. The nachos were remarkably fresh, with no stale chips, and the avocado crema was so good!! The burgers were juicy and cooked to perfection! They also have local musicians that come to perform, which is worth experiencing. There is a popcorn machine available to you, you can order some and the staff will bring it to your table. So, Indulge in popcorn while enjoying live music. This spot is pretty compact, resulting in close table arrangements that made it necessary to frequently adjust my chair to accommodate passing staff, which was a minor inconvenience but I thoroughly enjoyed my meal here.
My wife and I stopped in at this fine little establishment in downtown Plainfield, Illinois for lunch on Wednesday. I have eaten here many times in the past but never did a food and restaurant review so I figured no time like the present! Started off our lunch with some cold drinks They did not disappoint. After a few rounds we ordered our lunch. We ordered the parmesan garlic 10 piece chicken wings with a side order of celery, blue cheese and ranch and a side order of tater tots All of the food was very hot and very good and presented very well! I highly recommend both entrees! Some of the best wings and tater tots around this area hands down! Hats off to this fine very clean little establishment! The food, the service, and the atmosphere were all top notch & five stars across the board! We will definitely be back. If you haven't checked this place out yet, they have weekly specials and music on the weekends head on down to Uptown Tap! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
